Description

ServSafe is a training designed and offered by the National Restaurant Association to enhance the quality of service and safety within restaurant establishments. Through the use of educational resources, materials, and programs led by trained and certified instructors and proctors, ServSafe helps to cultivate and reinforce effective and safe service within those who work within and manage the food operation.

The Manager's Level course will give participants instruction on food safety at all stages, facilities and pest management, along with cleaning, sanitizing, and other topics.

This event will be a one day course including both instruction and exam.

Participation Details

Registration for ServSafe instruction through Douglas County Extension can be paid in-person only through means of debit/credit card, check, or cash (please pay exact amount if paying by cash). Upon registering for the class, you will receive a physical copy of your own manager level textbook included in the registration fee and you will use the book to study before the instruction/exam day. Books can be picked up from the Douglas County Extension office when you visit us to register for the exam. Registration fee is $150.00 including textbook.
