4-H Events

Junior Conference | November 8-9

  • This weekend at Rock Eagle is open to middle school 4-H’ers and includes workshops and education sessions, along with community service and recreation opportunities.
  • Open to students in grades 6-8
  • Cost: $100

Thanksgiving STEM Challenge | November 11th from 9am-noon

  • Where does your food come from, and how does the food supply chain work?? Explore the answers to these questions and more as we dive into our STEM Challenge- Food for Thought!? We will work through our STEM challenge, and also enjoy a Thanksgiving-themed snack.? *Due to space in our classroom, there is a limit of 24 students for this activity*
  • Open to students in grades 4-5
  • Cost: $5

Cloverbuds Art of Motion | November 15th from 9am-noon

  • This special day is designed for our Cloverbuds and a parent/guardian to explore the Art of Motion!? Engage in six different activities exploring motion in cars, boats, helicopters, and more.? After you leave, you'll be able to incorporate these STEM lessons to playtime and science experiments!? *This event is limited to 15 parent/guardian and student pairs. ?Please, no more than 2 students per adult.*
  • Open to students in the 1st-3rd grade
  • Cost: $5 per student (parent/guardian free with student)


Fall Forum | December 13-14?

  • Held annually, Fall Forum is a recreational and educational opportunity planned for 4-H’ers in the 9th-12th grades.? Students will participate in workshops facilitated by teen leaders, recreation, and community service activities, as well as a performance by Clovers and Co on Saturday night!
  • Open to students in grades 9-12
  • Cost: $105


Portfolio Workshops?

7th-12th graders must attend at least 2 portfolio workshops to be able to submit a portfolio and attend DPA. Upcoming portfolio workshop dates are: August 29, October 13, November 11, November 25, and December 22.? All workshops will be from 1pm-4pm at the 4-H Office in Appling.? All portfolios are due by January 6, 2026. Competition is March 6-8, 2026 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center.?
