The cost of the class is $150.? The cost to re-test with the 7th Edition Book with the 2022 Food Code is $70.
The class will be held at the Elbert County Extension Office, which is located at Blackwell Learning Center, 373 Campbell St. For more information, contact Christa Campbell at (706)283-2037.

We are currently located in a secure school building. If you are planning to visit one of the agents, or coming to a meeting or training please bring a Driver’s License or picture ID. You will need to show your driver’s license and check in with school personnel before entering.

Oct 22 Henry County Extension Master Naturalist Program Henry County Extension is sponsoring the Georgia Master Naturalist program this fall, which is a series of weekly programs with specific environmental topics that is hands-on environmental exploring habitats and ecosystems in Georgia and how human activity impacts on those environments. This program is a combination of lectures and both indoors and outdoors hands-on learning through field studies and relevant resources. An informed person can help make changes in their lives as well as their community and safeguard the environment. After completing this fun and interactive program, Georgia Master Naturalists are encouraged to share their knowledge with their communities by volunteering in local schools or nature centers. The program covers diverse topics such as insects and pollinators, geology, soil science, native and invasive plants, wildlife, stream ecology, and other topics. See attached agenda.

SAFE (Strengthening Awareness for Food Safety Emergencies) covers essential strategies for protecting your food and water supply during power outages, natural disasters, and other unexpected events.
