~Our first ever Cloverbuds Day Camp!!~

On Thursday, July 17th, we are excited for our K-3rd (in the just ended school year) students to be our 'water'buds for a day of water fun!?"Water"buds for the day!?

Allow your Cloverbuds (K-3rd in the current school year) the opportunity to step into a world of watershed wonders with 4-H this summer! Students will explore the science behind watersheds and the water that moves within them. We will build a terrarium and explore the beauty behind ponds, lakes, and rivers and what lives within them. This day will be jammed packed with all kinds of water fun! Drop your students off at 5110 Piney Grove Road, 9am with a packed lunch, snack, a change of clothes (shoes/socks included), towel, sunscreen, bug spray, and a hat/sunglasses. Wear closed-toe shoes (water shoes are great!). If they do not have water shoes of some sort, we ask that they bring a second pair of shoes they can change into after we play our water games. Pick up will be at the office at 2pm. We hope to see your student there! Cost is $30.

?~海角官方首页 Campus and State Botanical Gardens-Athens~

Join us in the Classic City! On Tuesday, May 27th 4th-12th graders can embrace their inner Dawg on 海角官方首页’s campus. We will tour the campus with 海角官方首页 alumni, visit the bookstore, see Sanford Stadium, and learn some environmental science at the State Botanical Garden. Drop off at the office 8:30am. Pickup is 5pm. Cost is $30 and includes lunch in Athens.

?FULL~Fortson Fun Day~FULL

Calling all 4th-6th graders!? Join Forsyth County 4-H on Friday, May 30th as we travel to Fortson 4-H Center for Fortson Fun Day! Possible activities include: wilderness survival, zip lining, climbing the rock wall, kickball, canoeing, herpetology, a visit to the Fortson farm, and checking out the canteen! Lunch is provided by the Fortson 4-H Center cafeteria. Drop off is 7:30am and our estimated return time is 5:30pm.

?~Smithgall Woods/Helen, GA Tubing Day~

On Wednesday, June 18th, the Forsyth County 4-H staff will travel with county 4th-8th graders to Smithgall Woods State Park where we will learn about arachnids and orienteering.? After eating our packed lunch (coolers provided) we will head to Helen for some tubing fun in the sun. Drop off 8am, pickup 5pm. Cost is $45.

?~Geocaching in Forsyth County~

All 4th-12th grade youth, join us on Monday, July 21st and get ready for an exciting outdoor adventure at our Geocaching in North Georgia Summer Day Camp! We will explore the beautiful landscapes of North Georgia while learning how to use GPS technology to search for hidden treasures. Drop off at 9am, pick-up is 4pm. Lunch is included for this day camp. Cost is $25.

Full~Dahlonega Day~Full

4th-12th graders can join the Forsyth County staff for our annual Dahlonega Day on Tuesday, July 29th. This exciting day includes a visit to the Crisson Gold Mine and a tubing trip down the Chestatee River! Your child will need to bring a packed lunch, coolers provided. Drop off is 9am and our expected return time is 4:30pm. Cost is $50.
