We have an exciting summer planned with adventures for everyone! From splashing at water parks to exploring safaris, enjoying arcades, and so much more – get ready for a summer of fun!! Summer Fun Sign Up is Friday, May 9th at the 4-H Office. Spots are very limited. Payment must be made at the time of sign-up to reserve a spot.
Photography Contest – 4th-12th Grades
We are excited to announce the 2025 Georgia 4-H Photo Contest! This contest is open to all 4-H'ers in 4th-12th grades and adults. Two photos may be submitted under each of the five categories per participant:
? Focus on 4-H Agriculture and STEM
? Focus on 4-H Camp and Environmental Education
? Focus on 4-H Citizenship, Leadership, and Service
? Focus on 4-H Healthy Living
? Focus on 4-H Volunteerism
All photos must have been taken between August 1, 2024 – July 31, 2025, by the 4-H member or adult who is submitting the photo. Photos should not be resubmitted from previous years. Complete guidelines for each of these categories are outlined in the attached letter.
All photos must be submitted by Friday, August 29, 2025. Photos should be submitted at the following website: https://forms.gle/hmn6VxZZE4kH9WGp9
Up to three youth photos and up three adult photos will be recognized in each category. Each selected photo will earn a $25.00 prize.
Our June & July meetings will be every Thursday from 9am - 12pm and they are open to 4th - 12th grade. Drop off and pick up will be at the garden. We will not be able to meet June 19th because Mrs. Rachel will be at camp. However, you are more than welcome to help care for the garden in your own time. We will also host a summer cookout highlighting some of our garden’s harvest. Date is to be determined. Register here..
Archery Coaches/Volunteers Needed
We have had a good bit of interest in an archery club we just need the help getting it started. We are looking for volunteers to help coach and lead a 4-H archery club. If you or someone you know would be interested, please contact the Extension/4-H Office. You can also find out more about becoming a volunteer here.
