The Agriculture & Natural Resources (ANR) program assists homeowners, farmers and land owners by providing educational seminars and workshops on topics from landscaping to wildlife management and everything in between.?ANR services include but are not limited to soil, water, and forage testing; plant disease diagnostic services; insect identification; and troubleshooting landscape problems.   • May 12 Journeyman Farmer Training-Small Ruminant Production Carroll and?Paulding County Extension?are hosting a Journeyman Farmer program that provides comprehensive training for beginning farmers. ?The program requires two-step training and the ability to complete both online training modules and in-person class meetings. Step 1: Small Farm Business Planning (March 10, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Step 2: Small Ruminant Production Online & In-Person Training (March 24, April 14, April 28, and May 12). ?Participants must complete Step One before participating in Step Two. Step 3: Intern-Mentorship Opportunities The cost for the program is $80.00. ?Registration will close on March 3, 2025.
