SAFE Sports Meeting
Parents: Are you enthusiastic about SAFE shooting practices? Or becoming a S.A.F.E. Shooting coach and guide youth in developing the skills, behaviors and the attitudes required for S.A.F.E. shooting. 4-H S.A.F.E. (SHOOTING, AWARENESS, FUN, & EDUCATION) program aims to help our youth acquire distinct life skills that enable them to master SAFE and responsible firearm practices.
Meeting for Parents and Students
Who: 4th -12th grade & Parents

Time: 6:00 PM
Where: 4-H Gym
Join us for an informational meeting about the Archery, BB, and Shotgun teams. We welcome you and your child(ren) please come join.

Georgia 4-H Foundation Holiday Card Contest!
Do you like to draw? Try to design a December holiday card for the Georgia 4-H Foundation, which will be sent to 4-H supporters to express our gratitude and well wishes. Top prize is $100!
Holiday Card Contest Rules:
1. All entries must be the students’ original drawing on an 8.5 x 5.5-inch (or 5.5 x 8.5 inch) sheet of white, unlined paper. (half sheet of plain white paper!)
2. All entries should somehow include 4-H in the theme for the message or design.
3. All entries must be colorful, so they can be reproduced on the card.
4. Each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form filled out by the 4-H’er and signed by the
county 4-H staff member.
5. All active 4-H members are eligible to participate
6. If any of the above rules are not followed, the entry may be disqualified.
7. Georgia 4-H reserves the right to modify the entry.
8. Mrs. Dinah will pick up entries from the school on October 1, 2025
National 4-H Week
October 6-10, 2025
We need your help, October 8 th from 4 - 5 pm. Parents will need to pick up their children. We will be assembling goody bags for the Teachers, in honor of 4-H Week.?
Please call the office in advance if you plan on attending. Mrs. Dinah can pick up a limited number of children but arrangments need to be made.
Corn Maze!
Come join us and visit Oakhurst Farms.
Activities to participate in include:
4-acre corn maze,
Rubber duck races,
MEGA slide,
Gem Mine,
and a whole lot more!
DATE: Oct. 11, (Saturday)
Cost: $25 per person, Space is limited!
When: 9:30 AM from the 4-H office
Return: Approximately 1:30, meet at the 4-H office
*Bring extra money for lunch, snacks and shopping.
Monster Mash!!!
Who: 4th and 5th graders
Date: Oct. 17 (Friday)
When: 7-11 pm
Cost: $25.00, Space is limited!
Pay at the 4-H office, in advance
Where: 4-H Gym (Old Rec Dept.) 101 Glover Road, Franklin
(Teen Leaders Needed!)
