Membership Guidelines for Students
Join our vibrant and growing 4-H community.? Rockdale County 4-H Club serves youth in Kindergarten through 12th??grade. Whether you're a new member, a returning family, your involvement helps us continue our mission of empowering youth through hands-on learning, leadership development, and service to others. The Rockdale County 4-H Club offers?programs and activities designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and create lasting friendships. From STEM and agriculture to public speaking and community service, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy.?As part of the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension, our team is committed to providing high-quality educational experiences that help young people grow into confident, capable, and compassionate leaders.?Joining the Rockdale County 4-H Club is free, and we do not have a membership fee; however, some programs and activities will have registration fees.?

Educational Competitions
County Project Achievement - 4-H Project Achievement is a cornerstone in the Georgia 4-H Program. From the first Boys' Corn Club sharing their crop to today's presentations and portfolios on hundreds of topics, Project Achievement serves to showcase 4-H'ers work and success.?

Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging is a competitive judging contest where 4-H’ers learn about cotton as an agriculture commodity in our state as well as to promote cotton through commercials or advertisements. 4-H’ers gain skills in making rational decisions when purchasing goods and services while maximizing resources.
Poultry judging is an evaluation event in which students learn and understand standards used in poultry and egg production and marketing, and to apply the standards in a realistic decision-making situation.
Forestry Judging Forestry Field Day (FFD) is a competitive Judging Contest where 4-H'ers learn about one of Georgia's most valuable resources. Participants learn to identify trees, insects and diseases. They also participate in compass and pacing activities and learn how to complete saw timber volume estimations. FFD provides an opportunity for youth to gain a better appreciation for our local forest resources and how they contribute to our economy and quality of life.
