  • Dec 16 One-Day ServSafe? Manager Certification Training and Exam 海角官方首页 Extension Rockdale County provides a 1-day ServSafe? training which is nationally recognized and accredited for food service managers from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF). The ServSafe? Food Safety Training Program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the food service industry. A one-day review class and then a test at the end of the class. The $150 fee includes the book, class, and exam. Pre-registration required. Register online or contact the Rockdale Extension Office (770-278-7373) with any questions you may have.

Rockdale 4-H Club Fundraiser: Front Door Produce

Back by popular demand! Georgia 4-H and Front Door Produce have partnered once again this fall. These Green Boxes offer fresh, locally sourced produce. This initiative makes a meaningful impact. The funds not only support the Rockdale County 4-H Club but also give back to the community. At checkout, you can choose to donate a box to a local family in need, making your support go even further.? ,??and help "Make the Best, Better".?

Ordering Window:?September 15 – November 7, 2025
Pick-Up Week:?Week of November 17. The exact date and time will be provided at a later date.?

Cost: $30.00 per Box

Each produce box includes an assortment of seasonal vegetables. Contents will vary, but boxes?could consist of a combination of the following items:

  • Bell peppers
  • Cucumbers & pickling cucumbers
  • Zucchini & yellow squash
  • Corn & green beans
  • Jalape?os
  • Cabbage
All proceeds will be used to improve Rockdale County Extension Services' outreach to our community. This may include using funds for staff professional development, purchasing equipment and supplies to support the office and its programs.
